At the age of five, Ola was torn away from a safe and happy foster home in Hastings and taken back to live with her real parents in London. It was the start of a nightmare.

If we could live without passion, maybe we'd know some kind of peace. But we would be hollow. Empty rooms, shuttered and dank. Without passion, we'd be truly dead.

I resigned from a role which many thought of as the best job in the world. When I left said role, I took a leap of faith to join another platform - they promised the world and delivered their own version of it. With my employee relationship with them still hanging in midair, another opportunity came along and this too proved to be a nonstarter.
